I initially started running back in 2005 for Team in Training. It wasn't until May of 2017 I started running again. I was inspired by an exceptional individual who had completed all six major marathons in one year. He completed them in honor of his mother and aunt who both passed from Cancer. He's my inspiration and I owe my fire being ignited to him.
I ran the Buffalo Marathon in May of 2017. Then I joined Team Determination with Illinois. I ran the Chicago Marathon in October of 2017. Then in 2018 I signed up to run Chicago again. I made a promise to my father in September of 2018 that I would train and run all six majors in honor of him. I ran Berlin 2019 and New York City 2019 and will be running London 2020.
Finn is my Daddy.
He was diagnosed with Lewy-Body Dementia and Parkinson's. There arn't enough words in the English language to describe how amazing he was. I'm truly grateful for his teachings and upbringing. I know he will stay with me always. He lost his battle on April 22, 2019. He always pushed me and wanted the best for me. I know you're still with me everyday and watching over me. I miss you so very much. This is for you Daddy.

With multiple individuals in our family effected by cancer, and experiencing Lewy-Body Dementia and Parkinson's with my father. I chose to run for a cause in honor of my father. Since fall of 2018 I have raised over $9,000 to Team Determination with The American Cancer Society.
The funds were raised for the following races:
My next Wold Major is in London on April 26, 2020. I am currently fundraising for Brain Research UK to help find a cure to multiple brain diseases.
Every little bit helps. Please support me on my journey to fulfill my last promise to my father.
